Blue House Bakery is the result of a life time of loving everything baking and cake related for Liz Routh.

Liz is a talented and passionate baker, known for her dedication to using only the finest, locally-sourced ingredients, Liz creates baked goods that combine time-honoured techniques with a modern twist, resulting in treats that are as beautiful as they are delicious.

After studying at Leiths School of Food and Wine, Liz worked as a private chef before deciding to take her love of baking to a more personal level by starting Blue House Bakery. She specializes in custom cakes, cookies, baked goods and desserts for all occasions, ensuring each creation reflects her clients’ tastes and style.

When she’s not in the kitchen, Liz experimenting with new recipes, exploring seasonal ingredients, and drawing inspiration from her travels. She also shares her baking tips and stories on the Blue House Bakery Instagram site, where she invites others to explore the joy of baking at home.

Liz believes that the best moments are made sweeter with a perfectly baked treat and loves creating special, memorable moments for her clients through her passion for baking.
